中國，1948年生

司徒強1948年生於廣東，目前居住於紐約。1973年國立台灣師範大學美術系畢業，1979年紐約普拉特藝術與設計學院美術碩士。個展：1991年台北誠品畫廊；1996年漢雅軒畫廊；1999年紐約OK哈里斯畫廊；2005台北誠品畫廊等。聯展：2003年「普普與幻象：費德利克．魏斯曼藝術基金會當代作品展」，美國維吉尼亞海灘，維吉尼亞當代藝術中心；2004年「美國當代寫實主義VII」，美國奧克拉荷馬州突沙市，M.A. 朵蘭畫廊等。

[New media.art] Sun Yuan and Peng Yu / Beijing

Sun Yuan (born 1972) and Peng Yu (born 1974) are artists living and working collaboratively in Beijing.

Sun was born in Beijing and Peng in Heilongjiang. Sun and Peng are contemporary conceptual artists[1] whose work has a reputation for being confrontational – they have previously used live animals in their installations.[2]
As their contribution to the 2005 Venice Biennale, the duo invited Chinese farmer Du Wenda to present his home-made UFO at the Chinese Pavilion.[1] They won the Contemporary Chinese Art Award in 2001.[3]
Their 2009 solo exhibition, "Freedom", at Tang Contemporary in Beijing, was seen by some critics as a memorial to the Tiananmen Square incident. The installation featured a large fire-hose hooked to a chain that erupted water spray at a distance of 120 meters. .[4]
